| Evolution: Bulky. UV turns it to dust in 3 years. Not terribly water repellant. Poly cotton. 2-3 year life. Not water repellant at all. Sunbrella: 10 year life but you will probably have to Scotch Guard it every year or 2 and not very water repellant even then. Great sun protection. Not too bulky. DO NOT put in a dryer. Not exactly cheap. Good it never gets wet. Weather Shield: Very compact. Not great in wind. Excellent water repellency. Not as good at screening the sun as Sunbrella. Easy to wash and dry. Weather Shield HD: Not too large. Excellent water repelancy. Good in wind. Reasonably compact. Quite expensive but, IMHO, worth it. Presently my favorite and in daily use. I have always put a cover on my Z's since 1980. Not only do they keep the paint from fading or, worse cracking, they also keep the interior looking good longer. Also you don't have to wash the car as frequently. info URL's: [ http://www.miata.net/faq/carcover.html ] [ http://www.covercraft.com/cover_fabrics.htm ] Big Sky has good prices: [ http://www.bigskycarcovers.com/ ]
